[[Basics]]
- What is your cosplay alias?
I actually Don't have one^^ Most people call me Elin but I have been called both Itachi and L

- How many years have you cosplayed?
oh god... the first one I did was about two years ago... but that one was crappy^^

- How did you get into cosplaying?
I went to a convention and saw other people do it, then I figured it looked fun so I gave it a try.^^ It was fun so I did it again! it has been a while now though... going to change it this summer

- What was your first convention and how did it go?
Närcon 07 and it was so fun!

- How many cons have you been to?
5; Närcon 07, Meuwcon 02, Närcon 08, Uppcon 09, Närcon 09

- How many cosplays have you done?
3: L- Death note although seriously fail xD, Itachi-Naruto and Vexen Kingdom Hearts: chains of memories (although I have to admit I did it mostly for the fun of it because I don't exactly look like him.... he...he^^)


[[Your Cosplays]]

- What was your first cosplay and why did you choose it?
L from Death Note because it was the first anime/manga that I really REALLY liked and I actually had L's kind of hair^^

- What is your favorite cosplay you've done so far?
Well Vexen was the one I had most fun with although I think the best one I've done in my opinion was Itachi.

- What is your least favorite cosplay?
L... because it was not really good^^

- What cosplay is the most uncomfortable?
Vexen, the fabric was so HOT I actually was near to faint at one point. Also; the WIG!!!

[[Process]]

- How do you research the cosplay before you make it?
Looking at pics and then I try to find some patterns I can re-do. Tutorials also helps at times. (like with the akatsuki-clouds)

- Do you sew your cosplays yourself?
From scratch

- If so, how did you learn to sew? If not, do you plan to learn?
Well i am mostly self learned but sewing class in school has helped a bit, also my grandmother is like a godess at sewing so she helps me out when she can.

- Do you make your own props?
Haven't really had any props yet but I will for my next one

- If so, how did you learn to? If not, do you plan to learn?

- Do you style your own wigs?
~Kumagorochan helped me with the Vexen wig and the other ones has been my real hair^^

- What other skills do you use to create your cosplays?
Ehm? I don't really get the question?

- What skill has been most useful for making your cosplay?
Sewing... i suppose^^

- What is the hardest thing when making a cosplay?
The hardest thing I have done must be the collar on the akatsuki coats (i did one for both me and my Kisame) and well, it was a lot of hand stitching.

- What was the biggest screw up you've had making a cosplay?
Haha! The hood on the organization XIII cloak XD It got too small.

- How often do you injure yourself while making a cosplay?
My grandmother helped with the hemming on the akatsuki cloak and she stuck a needle in my leg by accident! When I kinda screeched she told my to "suck it up" I kid you not! XD She is 82 years old and awesome XD Anyways not too muc, but I am kinda clumsy so I get som scratches and wounds from time to time^^

[[Budget]]

- Do you try to stay cheap or do you splurge on materials?
Cheap


[[cos-PLAY]]

- Have you ever cosplayed with a partner or group?
Yep, it's much funnier but next time I will go solo, SORRY C3 D8

- Do you try to act in character?
A little, but not too much.

- Have you ever done fanservice at a con? (Yaoi, yuri, etc)
Hahaaaa nooo well yes but not really. Hugs and such.^^

- How do you react to cosplayers dressed as a character from the same anime/game/etc?
Fun!

- Do you try to duplicate your character's expressions, walk, movements, etc?
HAHA no, maybe in shoots I try to be a little in character but not when just walking around.

- When crossplaying, do you try to act as much like the gender as possible?
Naaah, I am not too girly as it is. i just act like myself^^

- What was your funniest experience of acting in character?
... I had to run across a whole con screaming after a Demyx cosplayer to "PLEASE RETUNR MY LABGLASSES!" while she and a Marluxia cosplayer rand as fast as they could with them. I wasn't trying to be in character though... I just wanted my glasses... In the end though, another Marluxia cosplayer helped me catch them. Thanks Marluxia <3

- What was your worst experience acting in character?
Kind of the same as above actually XD it was fun for w hile but I got a little annoyed XD


[[Competition]]

- Do you compete in cosplay contests?
I have but I don't think I will again.

- Have you won anything?
Nope

- Do you prefer skits or walk-ons?
Skits^^

[[Community]]

- How many friends have you made because of cosplay?
... Many XD Many!!!

- Do you attend photoshoots and meet-ups outside of conventions?
Haha I am the cosplay photographer xD so I have to say yes! But not meet-ups

- What is the funniest reaction you've gotten cosplaying from people outside of the community?
Going in to H&M in full Vexen cosplay was... intresting xDDDD

- What was the worst?
Well I haven't gotten a bad reaction really


[[Future]]

- How long do you think you'll be cosplaying for?
As long as I am enjoying it

- Name a few cosplays you're planning to do next:
Altair (Assassin's Creed) Gimli (Lord of the rings... although I seriously don't know how XD) Greece (APH) Darth Nihilius (Star wars; Knights of the old republic II)

- What is your dream cosplay?
Actually Altair, I am so looking forward to it! Darth Nihilius is something I am kind of longing for too.

[[[Misc]]

- What do you take into consideration when picking a character to cosplay?
I got talked into Gimli and Greece but if I can I like to pick a character who's face isn't clearly visible, this way it doesn't matter too much how I look in the face. When crossplaying I find more loosefit clothes easier to pull off since I have kinda large boobs^^

- Is cosplay serious business for you?
I do the cosplays well, and am really picky about getting them right, but I do it for fun so I wouldn't say it's serious buisness. Like , I don't really care if I fit, or others fit as the character they've choses as long as you have fun doing them! That's the point of the whole thing!

- What is your favourite thing about cosplay?
Definitley the making of them.

- What is your least favourite?
Don't think I have a least favourite...

- What is it that makes you keep cosplaying?
Being with my awesome cosplay group, which I also take photographs of on a regular basis^^

- How would you like cosplaying to change in the future?
That more people would understand that it's mostly for fun, if you don't parttake in a contest that is, and would stop giving people shit about what's WRONG with their cosplays and instead focus on what is good! 8D

- How do you want to grow as a cosplayer?
I want to learn how to do leather wear!
